As part of the project “Empowering Disabled Women and Girls through Sports and Livelihood Opportunities”, the Breaking Barriers Solutions Workshop, organized in collaboration with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and the GBB Accessible Life Center, has now been documented in a comprehensive report.
Held on February 11, 2025 in Gaziantep, the workshop brought together 77 participants from various sectors across six thematic committees. Key challenges faced by persons with disabilities -particularly women and girls- were discussed in areas such as education, employment, accessibility, social security, culture, and healthcare.
The report aims to inform inclusive policy development and implementation, offering actionable recommendations for policymakers, local governments, and civil society organizations.
