Etkiyap has become a Social Value International (SVI) Partner as of 12 June 2020.
Social Value International is a global network that focuses on social impact and social value. SVI’s members and partners across the world share a common goal: to change the way society accounts for value.
All too often key decisions about resources and policies are made using a limited economic concept of value, which fails to consider important effects on people and the environment. As the gap between rich and poor increases and the effects of climate change become more apparent, SVI’s work has never been more urgent.
Social Value International has members and partners in 45 countries, representing a range of disciplines in the public, private and civil society sectors. SVI network works to embed core principles for social value measurement and analysis and to refine and share practice.
Safak Muderrisgil, the co-founder of Etkiyap, explains the importance of Social Value Partnership below:
“Social Return on Investment (SROI) approach to impact valuation will be one of the key tools of our impact measurement and management strategy, supporting the development and scalability of evidence-based projects and policies in the impact investing sector in Turkey. In addition, it will help us to articulate the importance of impact measurement and management in enabling more sustainable social investments to be made.”
